In partnership with the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ), this webinar will provide foundational knowledge about YABs and explore the effectiveness of engaging youth with lived experiences in an advisory capacity. It will focus on key considerations when developing mutually beneficial partnerships between youth and stakeholders in the field and address how to leverage these relationships to highlight issues of importance, enhance recovery support systems, and inform juvenile justice reform through the lens of youth with lived experiences. This learning opportunity will be complemented by two additional webinars that will include presentations on targeted approaches for establishing a YAB, as well as enhancing an existing YAB.
